flight information
Visitors to Telluride typically choose to fly into the Montrose/ Telluride regional airport (MTJ) or Grand Junction (GCT) which are about an hour and a half and two hour drives from the ski resort. You may choose to rent a car to get into town, but we recommend making a reservation with a shuttle service to avoid the hassle of a car rental. getting around town
Once you're in town, there is simply no reason to need a rental car. There is very limited public/ visitor parking in Telluride & Mountain Village. Transportation through and around town is easy with the Galloping Goose public bus system & free Gondola from the town to San Sophia Station, and to Mountain Village. The
Dial-A-Ride service is a call-in shuttle company that will pick up and drop off at your specified locations in Mountain Village. All modes of public transportation are dog-friendly and have ADA compliant accomodations.
