transportation

flight information

Visitors to Telluride typically choose to fly into the Montrose/ Telluride regional airport (MTJ) or Grand Junction (GCT) which are about an hour and a half and two hour drives from the ski resort. You may choose to rent a car to get into town, but we recommend making a reservation with a shuttle service to avoid the hassle of a car rental. More information on getting there from the airport can be found at the Telluride website.

getting around town

Once you're in town, there is simply no reason to need a rental car. There is very limited public/ visitor parking in Telluride & Mountain Village. Transportation through and around town is easy with the Galloping Goose public bus system & free Gondola from the town to San Sophia Station, and to Mountain Village. The

Dial-A-Ride service is a call-in shuttle company that will pick up and drop off at your specified locations in Mountain Village. All modes of public transportation are dog-friendly and have ADA compliant accomodations.
